Nature Strong Training
Increase Your Daily Step Count
The foundation of Nature Strong training is getting outside and going for a Ruck Walk. "Rucking" is the simple act of going for a walk with a weighted backpack. Although rucking may conjure up images of extreme military training, we use it a a means to add slight resistance to walking or hiking. The benefits of rucking are immense and it is suitable for all fitness levels. Rucking burns many more calories than a traditional walk due to the demands of the added weight. Rucking has the same cardio benefits as jogging without the long-term damage to your joints from the constant pounding on pavement. In addition, rucking will strengthen your legs, core, and back, which will greatly improve your posture. Furthermore, rucking will help you increase your step count and calm your mind by spending more time outside.

Build Unmatched Functional Strength and Endurance
In addition to rucking, we will focus on strength training that has a direct and noticeable impact on your daily life. We will also focus on strength training that helps offset the negative effects of prolonged sitting. Finally, we will utilize exercises that are fun, different, and hard to find in most gyms. We accomplish this by incorporating carrying exercises and training with unconventional implements that are engaging and challenging. As humans, one of our greatest strengths is the ability to carry weight across long distances. Our bodies were built to carry, yet it is rarely ever used in our training. In fact, most of the weight you lift outside of a gym requires you to carry it. Exercises such as the farmers carry work your entire body and build high levels of strength, especially your grip and core. The farmers carry is considered to be one of the most functional exercise you can do. A lot of traditional training protocols require sitting. In a world were we sit 60 hours a week and walk 3,00 steps a day, carrying exercises give us the chance to get strong, fix bad posture and get much needed movement.

Lifting stones, chopping wood, and carrying logs are usually seen in movie training montages like Rocky. This style of training has always been my favorite and the most enjoyable for myself and clients. Having access to these implements and access to a private lot in the mountains, I am able to provide the opportunity for you to have fun training in a way that is fun, different, and extremely satisfying.

Relieve Stress And Spend More Time In Nature
Nature Strong training is guided by 'Strength, Movement, and Nature" I feel now more than ever the missing piece of the wellness puzzle is time spent in Nature. Regular exposure to fresh air, trees, rivers, mountains and sunshine have a way of calming and recharging your mind and body. furthermore It also allows you to slow things down and gain some quiet perspective on life peaks and valleys. My goal is to provide a unique training experience that helps you put in some fun hard-work outside and experience the sense of fulfillment that comes from it.
